Urinary Incontinence
Stress incontinence usually affects women after childbirth. A typical history is that they present with urinary leakage on coughing, sneezing, dancing, running or vigorous movement.
A surgical procedure such as a TVT (see information leaflet) can be performed to help alleviate stress urinary incontinence. Before the procedure is performed most patients are evaluated with a cystoscopy and urodynamic study after consultation.
